Mounts3D Flexible Mount is a flexible adhesive mount for action cameras, designed for installation on smooth, flat, or curved surfaces.

It is an ideal solution when a conventional rigid mount cannot follow the surface shape and cannot provide a sufficient contact area.

The mount’s flexible body conforms to the surface curvature, making it suitable for motorcycle windscreens, fairings, glass, metal, and other smooth, rigid surfaces.

Conforms to the surface

The main advantage of this flexible action camera mount is its ability to follow the shape of the surface it is installed on.

On a motorcycle windscreen or a curved fairing, a rigid mount may only touch the surface in certain areas. Flexible Mount can be shaped so the adhesive area achieves better contact with the mounting zone.

Pre-applied 3M adhesive tape

The mount is supplied with pre-applied 3M adhesive tape, so it is ready for installation after proper surface preparation.

For the best possible adhesion, the surface must be:

• clean;
• completely dry;
• degreased;
• dust-free;
• wax-free;
• silicone-free;
• free of detailing products or other substances that may reduce adhesion.

Ideal for motorcycle windscreens and curved surfaces

Mounts3D Flexible Mount can be used on many smooth and rigid surfaces, including:

• motorcycle windscreens;
• motorcycle fairings;
• glass;
• metal;
• certain plastics with a smooth surface;
• other surfaces compatible with the adhesive.

The product is not recommended for very textured, porous, oily, waxed, silicone-contaminated surfaces, or for surfaces with a weak outer layer.

The mount uses a standard attachment system found in the action camera ecosystem.

It can be used with:

Depending on the camera model, an additional adapter may be required.

Correct installation

Installation quality directly affects the strength of the adhesive bond.

1. Choose the final position before removing the adhesive protective film.
2. Check the camera angle and the contact area.
3. Clean and degrease the surface.
4. Let the surface dry completely.
5. Remove the protective film without touching the adhesive.
6. Shape the mount to the surface curvature.
7. Apply the mount and press firmly over the entire adhesive area.

We recommend a minimum of 24 hours before normal use.

For applications with vibration, speed, or high dynamic loads, when possible, we recommend about 72 hours for adhesion to develop before intensive use.

Important for motorcycle use

When used on motorcycles, cars, or in other applications where detachment could lead to loss of the camera or could pose a hazard, we strongly recommend using an independent safety tether.

Check before each use:

• the mount’s adhesion;
• the edges of the adhesive tape;
• the mount’s integrity;
• the screws;
• the adapters;
• the camera fastening.

Do not use the product if you notice cracks, deformation, or areas where the adhesive begins to lift.

We do not recommend intermediate films

For motorcycle use and other applications with vibration or high speed, we do not recommend installing the mount over removable films, electrostatic films, vinyl, or other unvalidated intermediate layers.

The strength of the entire system is determined by the weakest connection. If the intermediate film detaches from the surface, the mount will detach with it, even if the adhesive tape remains perfectly bonded to the film.
