Lens Protectors for Insta360 X4

On a motorcycle, gravel thrown up by the wheels, insects, and an accidental drop usually hit the domed lenses first. Lens protectors for Insta360 X4 fit over both lenses and take the scratches themselves, so the camera lenses stay intact.

Because they are transparent, you don’t need to remove them to record: the camera captures footage through them. You can keep them on the camera on the road and on the trail, and take them off only for recordings where you want maximum image quality.

Clear polycarbonate

The material is polycarbonate (PC): light, transparent, and hard to break. It’s not optical glass like premium protectors, so in strong light, with the sun in front of you, reflections may be more noticeable. On the other hand, replacing a scratched protector is inexpensive; replacing a scratched lens isn’t.

Installation

The protectors install by twisting onto each lens. The package also includes a tightening tool, which helps you secure them firmly and remove them easily.

Before installation, wipe the lenses with the alcohol wipe, then dry them with the dry wipe, so no dust or fingerprints remain under the protector. If your camera menu has a lens protector mode (Lens Guard), enable it so the 360 stitch comes out correctly.
