Adhesive mounts for action cameras
The adhesive mount is the fixed point you stick on once — on a helmet, fairing, fuel tank, or a plate — and the camera clips in and out of it whenever you want. The mounts use the quick-release system of cameras with GoPro-style mounting.
Flat or curved
- flat mounts — for level surfaces: fairing, fuel tank, hood, cases, plates;
- curved mounts — for rounded surfaces: helmet, frame, tube.
You can choose 2 flat mounts, 2 curved mounts, or the set of 4 (2 flat + 2 curved), so you can have a mount at each place you film from.
A quick-release adapter fits into the mount — for example the J-Hook adapter or the low-base adapter (Low Profile) — and the camera attaches to the adapter. Adapters are not included; you can find them separately in the Adapters and extensions category.
How to stick them on correctly
- stick the double-sided adhesive pad onto the mount;
- clean and degrease the surface (for example with isopropyl alcohol) and let it dry;
- apply the mount at room temperature, not in the cold;
- press firmly for at least 30 seconds;
- let the adhesive set for at least 24 hours before first use.
On a helmet, also add a safety tether: it holds the camera if the mount fails.
Compatibility
- cameras and accessories with GoPro-style mounting: GoPro, DJI Osmo Action (via the DJI adapter), Insta360 (via the suitable adapter) and other action cameras.
Package contents
- depending on the option chosen: 2 flat mounts, 2 curved mounts, or 4 mounts (2 flat + 2 curved);
- one separate double-sided adhesive pad for each mount.
Note: the camera, J-Hook adapter, and the other adapters shown in the images are not included.
